Note from Dina: We live on the creek in a berm house. In fact, you have to drive through the creek to get to the house (hard bottom creek).  That’s why I wanted a rain date in case the water comes up or it’s raining. I am prepared to drive folks across if they are hesitant about going through. There’s a place for cars if they want to park and be driven. We cross every day, but I know it can be kind of scary for some.
